The Simplon railway line on which the station is located in Baveno, links to Milan and then to the main destinations in Italian and Domodossola, towards northern Europe. A network of public bus connects the town with the main goals of the territory. By car, Baveno is easily reached by the A26 motorway.

Mountain lovers can quickly reach the National Park of Val Grande, the largest wilderness area in Italy, the Regional Park of Veglia and Devero, the Wildlife Oasis Macugnaga, situated at the foot of the majestic Monte Rosa, the Val Formazza with the famous Cascata del Toce and the picturesque Val Vigezzo.

A few minutes from Baveno is Mottarone from its peak at about 1500m. you can enjoy a breathtaking view of 5 lakes and finally descending to the picturesque Lake Orta, with the beautiful town of Orta and the Island of San Giulio.

To the north, a few minutes away is the beautiful Lake Mergozzo.

The Lake Maggiore Express, is an excursion that allows the visitor to enjoy lovely views in a single day: traveling by boat to Switzerland you can see the location on the northern shores of the lake, the Cannero castles, islands of Brissago , Ascona and the small towns on the banks and on the slopes of the mountains.

In Locarno you are then transfered to the train of the Centovalli taking you through a wild and romantic region in which you traverse staggering bridges, streams of pure water, vineyards, chestnut forests and perched villages, reaching Domodossola,and then onwards it ultimately returns to Baveno.

Verbania, the capital of the province is 15 km away and can be reached by all means. It 'a lively tourist center, also appreciated by the nineteenth-century villas such as Villa S.
